We are again connected to World Book Online and World Book Kids. They are really wonderful sources of information. The Kids one is new and is great for youngers. You can also reach them from our own Robinson School web site's Library page or Research page.

A Great First Week!

The students clapped and cheered when I announced the opening of the library last Monday. It was a great week. Everyone loves the new layout. Stop in and see us! Parents and home schoolers are welcome.

Almost Ready

We are hoping to open the library on Monday, October 1!

Moving along...

Hello All, and welcome back to school. The classrooms are ready and today is the first day of school. There are still 3 rooms that need to be put back together: the tech lab, the art room, and this room, our library.

As soon as our library shelves are bolted back onto the walls, we can get the books onto the shelves and arrange our furniture. Until then, Ms. Annie Watson and Ms. Ellen Hanson will be working in the library ordering books, cleaning our shelving, and continuing to get us ready to open.

We might need some extra hands shelving books when the time comes, so if you're interested in helping, call Annie at school. This year I will only be in the library on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Mrs. Hanson will keep the library open on Thursdays, and Fridays we will be closed.

Summer Update: Moving books

Hello, All! I hope you have had a great summer. We are gearing up to start moving things back into the building, and of course a huge part of that will be moving library books. I am not sure of the schedule for this (we have to get the classrooms put together first), but we will be needing help moving and unpacking books. If you are interested in helping move books or shelving them, please call Annie Watson at 453-2949 or email me at awatson@anesu.org .

Starksboro Public Library

This morning a mysterious visitor came to MARS to tell the students about exciting summer activities at the Starksboro Public Library. The visitor looked kind of like Sherlock Holmes and told of all sorts of mystery and sleuthing activities happening. Be sure to stop in to the Starksboro Public Library to join the fun. They are open Mondays 10-6, Thursdays 10-4, and Saturdays 9-1.
